FRESH CHECK DAY

On March 30th, the Office of Residence Life and many other campus groups partnered to put on the 2nd Annual Fresh Check Day.
Fresh Check Day is an event that was created by the Jordan Porco Foundation. The goal of the event is to showcase the mental health practices that Widener has and encourage suicide prevention. If you would like to learn more about Fresh Check Day please click the hyperlink.
Free water ice and soft pretzels, free t-shirts for the first 100 visitors, activities at 13 booths hosted by various offices around campus, and raffles were all included in this year's Fresh Check Day! The tables included a ‘Name the Borg’ contest, a stress ball making station, a painting station, and so much more. Every table had the goal of promoting a positive mindset and encouraging students to work on focusing on their own mental health.
