LEARNING FROM HOME AS A FRESHMEN

Transitioning from high school to college can be extremely challenging for many individuals. It’s even more difficult to transition into college during a global pandemic.  Widener University's freshman class is currently experiencing this situation. Over the summer, first-year students received news that they will not be living on campus for the fall semester. President Julie E. Wollman explained that “distancing requirements and other necessary restrictions would severely limit their ability to form peer relationships and enjoy a traditional college experience
